Truc Bach Lake is a lake of Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Vietnam, which is a part of West Lake. Previously, it is the west lake. Ye Hoa residents and Yen Quang residents make a small embankment for easier fishing. After that, Trinh Lord made embankment broaden and called 'Co Ngu' embankment. Now, it is Thanh Nien road. The corner of the lake, there has a place for Trinh Doanh Lord, then it became where palace ladies were detained because of crime. 

They grew mulberry and made silk so that the place was called 'Truc' village and they named 'Truc Bach' Lake. In the Trinh Lord reign, Truc Bach Lake planted lotus, which burst into fragrant one region. Truc Bach Lake is not large; standing here can see the looming shadow at the far edge.Going around Truc Bach Lake, turn on Ngu Xa peninsula, visiting ancient pagoda and the statue of Amida, tourists will have strange feeling. There have some structures, historic relic, and cultural relic around Truc Bach Lake. On the western angle, it is Quan Thanh temple to worship Saint Tran Vu. On the eastern lake, it has Chau Long pagoda, linking to Princess of Tran reign "Khiet Co". This Pagoda is located on the mountain with dragon shape releasing the jade so that people named "Chau Long". It was built from Ly-Tran reign. Chau Long, pagoda is a valuable sculpture, which was classified by the State. On the north, there has Than Quang, where has the biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam. The statue has 4 meters height and 14 tons weight. It is the valuable sculpture not only in Vietnam but also on the world. Most tourists come to Hanoi visiting around Truc Bach Lake because there have many historic relics and unique architecture. Truc Bach Lake along with Ly Tu Trong Park and West Lake makes a harmonious nature and a beautiful landscape of Hanoi capital. Chuong village is far about 30 kilometers from Hanoi, is located on Ha Dong road-Huong Tich pagoda. Chuong village belongs to Phuong Trung commune, Thanh Oai Distric, Hanoi. According to the seniors, the 'non' craft has had for a long time. Grandfather made 'non', father made 'non', son made 'non', grandchildren made 'non'. All members in family make 'non', the village has only single job is making 'non'. Because all people in the village make 'non', the market has most 'non' and things to make 'non'.

  Market has meeting in June, the main session on 4th, 10th, 14th, 24th and 30th lunar. Today, despite people are not used these 'non' as often as it once was, the village market is still crowded and busy.The main material for making “non” is palm leaf. Chuong villagers have to choose the white shoots from Phu Tho Province or “non” leaf from Ha Tinh Province. Bamboo hammocks and conical “non” must be imported from other provinces. Not o­nly old people but also children in this village know how to make conical hats. They take advantage of leisure after harvest time to make hat. This occupation helps villagers increase their incomes, improve their living standards and contribute to bettering their home village. “Non quai thao” a kind of conical hat with fringe hanging at both sides) has a unique beauty with pink fringes, 2 yellow and red silk tassels, which is suitable for girls in spring festivals, village festivities, “cheo” and “quan ho” folk music festivals.

 Many Chuong villagers are good at making “non quai thao”, which is a special cultural feature of the Northern delta in Vietnam. The conical makers must be meticulous, skillful and have experience as the process is complicated, including choosing, arranging palm leaves, then sticking them o­n the conical ring, and sewing colorful thread. It sometimes takes the artisan a whole day to complete a nice “quai thao” conical hat. Not o­nly is “quai thao” conical hat ordered by artistic troupes but it is also foreign tourists’ favorite souvenir. Many visitors from Germany, France, and England can’t help buying this unique souvenir when they arrive at Chuong Village. Non from Chuong Village are well-known not only throughout Vietnam but also in China, Japan and Europe, where they are exported to. In the past, non from Chuong Village were sent to imperial palaces for queens, princesses and high-ranking ladies. Last year, it was made in an enormous size to introduce to leaders participating in the APEC 14 in Hanoi.

Ba Vi National Park is located in the five districts: Ba Vi, Thach That, Quoc Oai, Hanoi, Luong Son, Ky Son and it is far about 60 kilometers from Hanoi along the highway 21A, 87.Ba Vi National Park is divided into three functional areas: Strict Conservation, Ecological Restoration and Administrative Services. Ba Vi is the average mountain and low mountain.

In Ba Vi National Park, there have several mount with 1000 meters height such as: Dinh Vua (1296 meters), Tan Vien mount (1277 meters), Ngoc Hoa mount (1131 meters), Vien Nam mount (1081m) and Hang Hum mount (776 meters), Gia De (714 meters)… Ba Vi mountain range has large slope with the average slope about 250 meters. The general characteristics of Ba Vi is dominated by mechanisms of monsoon. The average annual temperature in the region is 23,40oC. With this feature, this is an ideal holiday for tourists. According to the list of flora collected from the samples and the results of additional investigation in 2008, Ba Vi National Park has 1201 species of vascular plants. The specific feature of the region of Ba Vi is that it has 5 species of Ercaceae and 6 species of Theacae and 19 species Fagaceae which is more than the numbers of Cuc Phuong National Park. According to the investigation in 2008, the vertebrate fauna in Ba Vi National Park are 342 species. Besides, there has 70 species for meat, leather.

 Not sure you know visit this museum because it is a distant from Old Quater, besides the well-known attractions such as Hoan Kiem Lake, Old Quarter, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam..., Hanoi Museum is a place not to be missed for tourists who want to explore the capital. Located on Pham Hung Street, next to the National Conference Center, Hanoi Museum is where reflect the past and present of Hanoi with thousands of artifacts relating to the capital. With more than 50.000 m2 and 12.000 m2 for construction, this is the biggest and the most modern museum in the country. From a distance, Hanoi Museum impressed with the unique architectural design with inverted pyramid building.
The museum has 6 floors, the floor area scaled down from top to bottom. Hanoi museum give to visitors impression by modern design and convenience. Tourists can go to other floors by elevator or stairs that are designed into a spiral round inside the museum.
When entering the first floor, visitors will see "botanical dragon column"-a large lamp lighting the room sighting the majestic flying dragon. The second floor has a small model of Hanoi: Tien Thang Long area, Phung Nguyen Grave, the map of Co Loa, Dong Son culture and other pictures of Hanoi. Memories of Hanoi have gone into the poems, music, and graphics that become a love not only for The Hanoi but also for tourists from whole the world.

Around Hanoi, there has many 'traditional trade village'. They are the villages where specialized products are made and these traditional works have been preserved by family generations. The products are handicrafts, traditional paintings, wooden furniture, bronze or silk products, etc. Bat Trang ceramic village is one of them. Bat Trang village lies on the bank of the Hong River, about 13 kilometers from Hanoi. To get there, you cross the Chuong Duong Bridge out of central Hanoi, turn right onto dilapidated, heavily pot-holed road and try to avoid being hit by the trucks, buses and motorcycles that jokey to overtake each other in both directions.
Bat Trang is an ancient village, which is very famous for making ceramic products. Many of these ceramic products have been exported for years; as a result, they are a good income for the locals. 

There is a ceramic market in the village, where we can buy ceramic tile painting, flower vases, tea pots and cups, bowls, plates, spoons, even ceramic dogs. Not only the local houses where we can see how to mix material make and paint ceramic products but there are also classes where we can learn how to create a vase or anything from clay that we want and paint the ready-make products. In addition, it is great to walk around the village, visit some local houses which are the factories and Bat Trang Pagoda.
To make ceramic the potter must follow the stages: selection, land preparation and processing, create designs, create patterns, enameled and finally calcined product.  Experience traditional village life of Bat Trang is "Best bones, second skin, third "dac lo". The development of the profession is seen as the practice of the creative process working with the technical processes.

 On route visit Hochiminh Complex , Temple of  Literature and Hoang Thanh citadel  , Vietnam Military History Museum is a museum of military history of Vietnam, located at 28A Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi. The museum opened on the occasion of 15th anniversary of establishment of the Vietnam People's army December 22th 1959. This museum collected, stored and displayed 150.000 artifacts, including many artifacts, collections and valuable history that reflect the war against enemy. All things represent military methods from Hung Vuong to Ho Chi Minh term. The display system of Vietnam Military History Museum includes outdoor and indoor system with the area of 3.200 m2 with 2.500 artifacts.
In the first floor of the museum, there have 3 rooms: the first room about the military from the Hung Kings period until Ngo Quyen defeated the Han army at the Bach Dang River in 938. The room in the middle has a statue of Ho Chi Minh President and the images in the first Indochina War in Vietnam (1858-1945). The last room shows about the fight from the Ly to Nguyen dynasty. Many artifacts of historical value are displayed here such as bike in Dien Bien Phu campaign, MiG19 and MiG21 aircraft, Sam 2 and Sam 3 missiles in the campaign against America, especially, the tanks entering the Palace in the center of the room.
The museum content covers the six following periods: The history of the Vietnamese nation and the birth of the Vietnam People’s Army, The Vietnamese struggle against French colonialism, The Vietnamese struggle against American imperialists, The Vietnam People’s Army on the path to a regular modern army, The People and the Army are oneness, and will be invincible, Piece of weaponry displayed in the museum courtyard (such as airplanes, tanks, heavy artilleries, rockets, mortars, bombs, and so forth).

 After your time here, you will realize that the museum is the concentrated embodiment of the Vietnamese people’s spirit revealed in President Ho Chi Minh’s writing: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom" in the historic Nation’s Independence Proclamation.

West Lake is an interesting destination for tourists. At the reign of Ly-Tran, the King built many palaces around the lake such as: Thuy Hoa Palace of Ly dynasty, Ham Nguyen Palace of Tran dynasty.
