Mai Chau trekking tour 2 days 1 night

Day 1: Ha noi – Hoa Binh – Mai Chau – Pu Luong(L,D)

Pick you up from your hotel at 8h00. Transfer to Mai Chau, riding on a very nice road and passing through spectaculars on routes. Arrival in Poom Coong village at about 11.30am, welcome drink with Vietnamese green tea then take a short walk around the village to visit Thai people, then lunch will be served here on traditional house-on-stilt.

14h00, leaving here for our short ride (15 min) to Ma river. Boating is our next adventure. We are rafting on the boat for about 30 min, and then we start our walk for 2 hours through beautiful villages, hill sides, magnificent rice paddies, water wheels… And one of the highlight on this walk is to experience the everyday life and culture White Thai people and stay in their traditional house on stilts as honored guests.

Again boat ferries across the river, we hit the road to Sai village (also the Thai) where we will be having dinner and stay at their traditional house on stilts.

Day 2: Pu Luong – Mai Chau – Hanoi (B,L)

The Fammers will get up very early at 5 am, it will be interesting for you to get up and take part in their activities to experience their lovely colorful life (this is sure with fun!). Breakfast at their house, then at 8 am start our Motobike trip to the Nature Reserve of Pu Luong to visit Duom untouched village.

After 3 hours walk, driver will pick us up and transfer to Poom Coong hill tribe for lunch. We should leave Mai Chau at 2.30 pm and return Hanoi by 6 p.m. Tour ends.
