Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be lake and national park (L,D)

Tour guide and Driver pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi. Depart for Ba Be lake (250km). On the way, stop over for visiting villages of Tay people. Arrive in Ba Be.

Homestay with local people in Pac Ngoi village( on the side of Ba Be lake).

Day 2: Boat trip to see Ba Be lake – Drive to Cao Bang (B,L,D)

Ba Be Lake, surrounded by rugged limestone mountains, is Vietnam s only natural mountain lake. This important Eco-system is well known for over 330 species of butterflies! Have breakfast with your Tay hosts before exploring the lake with lush forest clinging to the surrounding mountains. Reach the end of the lake and trek to Dau Dang Waterfall, back to the boat harbor. The car will pick up for heading north through the mountains to the city of Cao Bang. Overnight in a hotel in Cao Bang.

Day 3: Cao Bang – Ban Gioc waterfall – Cao Bang (B,L,D)

Take a scenic day trip north of Cao Bang to the beautiful Ban Gioc Waterfall on the Chinese border. This picturesque, cascading waterfall is 53 meters high and has an impressive span of 300 meters. The unique landscape includes limestone karst formations soaring from the verdant rice paddies of Tay, H Mong and Dzao ethnic minority groups. On the way back to Cao Bang, explore the expansive 2,144 meter Nguom Ngao Cavern to discover its brilliant stalactites.

Day 4: Cao Bang – Ha Giang (B,L,D)Depart for Ha Giang (300km). On the way, stop over for taking photos, visit village minority of Lo Lo and San Riu. Arrive in Ha Giang, check in hotel. At leisure personal pursuit.

Day 5: Ha Giang – Meo Vac – Dong Van (B,L,D)

After breakfast, We ll drive up to the highland of Ha Giang province. You will stop in Quan Ba District to visit the Bo Y minority village, this area is wonderful weather around year, then process passing Sky gate where you can visit sky, Fairy Mountain, hand weaving village. Break in Yen Minh town. Continues to Meo Vac town, visit Dao minority house and we have chance to view Nho Que river with Ma Pileng pass. Arrive Dong Van District. Overnight in Dong Van.

Day 6: Dong Van- Lung Cu – Tam Son (Yen Minh) (B,L,D)

Following breakfast leave Dong Van for a spectacular 1-hour drive to Lung Cu the northernmost point of Vietnam. Discover the diversity of the north with a visit to the local market where hilltribes from around the region come to trade their wares, stop at a palace of a former H mong king and take a walk through Pho Bang town whose lanes are filled with traditional Chinese-style houses. Continue to Tam Son arriving late this afternoon. Overnight in Tam Son (Yen Minh).

Day 7: Tam Son (Yen Minh) – Ha Giang – Hanoi (B,L,D)

Looping back to Hanoi, this full day of driving first takes you over the Tam Son – Yen Minh Valley where, should you wish, you can take a short trek to a H mong village. You ll the reach Ha Giang again around midday before continuing onwards to Hanoi arriving early evening.
